جوآن استافنی جرمانوتا با نام حرفه ای لیدی گاگا شناخته میشود متولد 20 مارس 1986 یک خواننده - ترانه سرا و آهنگ ساز است که بیشتر به خاطر کار در سبک الکترونیکا شناخته میشود و مدل موها و صدایش نیز به شدت شبیه کریستیناآگوئیلرا خواننده مشهور است

جرمانوتا از چهارسالگی پیانو را با گوشکردن فرا گرفت. او در نوجوانی نخستین ترانهاش را نوشت. از سال 2006 همکاری با راب فتوسازی تهیه کننده موسیقی را آغاز کرد و چندین ترانه نوشت. در طی همکاری با فوساری هنگامی که او ترانه «Ag ain, Ag ain»را نوشت، نام حرفهای لیدی گاگا را برای خود برگزید که برگرفته از آهنگ ردیو گا-گا از گروه موسیقی کوئین بود.

سالهای آغازین زندگی :


سایرس در شهر نشویل واقع در ایالت تنسی زاده شد. مادرش لتیشیا تیش، پدرش خواننده و نوازندهٔ سبک کانتری با نام بیلی ری سایرس و پدربزرگش ران سایرس بود. او دو برادر ناتنی با نامهای کریستوفر کدی و تریس سایرس دارد، که دومی خواننده و نوازنده گیتار گروه راک با نام ایستگاه مترو در ایالت کالیفرنیا است. مایلی همچنین یک خواهر ناتنی بزرگتر از خود با نام برندی یک برادر کوچکتر با نام بریسون و یک خواهر کوچکتر از خود با نام نواه که هنرمند هم هست، میباشد. والدینش نام او را دیستنی هُپ (در انگلیسی به معنای امیدوار به سرنوشت) گذاشتند چراکه اعتقاد داشتند او کارهای بزرگی را در آینده انجام میدهد. نام مستعار «مایلی» به دلیل چهرهٔ همیشه بشاش او برایش انتخاب شد.
